Rock U Blue Gigi

Life is neither short or long. good or bad. happy or sad, it is all of these things depending on the variable of perception. Risk with passion perceive with gratitude. Rock Hard, Live Long, Learn Well and get up again. Nothing then can ever go wrong

  •  You have three recent songs.
  • First one I wrote is titled I Know Nothing which originally was I am sure I am unsure. Lyrics are on the song and poetry page.  Really hits on the ego and how it will convince you of the importance of always being right. This is a ballad closest to  the progressive genre sound. It is about the human ego and how if wrong all freedom will be lost. The only thing that will be lost is the ego and since it knows this, it will never quit trying to convince you to fight, resist, by keeping you in a constant state of fear. Fear as we know morphs into anger, resentment, depression and many other not so comfortable things. Here is the key, you cannot fight your ego as this is only another ploy by the ego. Let it be, the ego can only win if you identify yourself with it.  Here are five very wise words I once heard,
       "Accept all and choose best!"

  • The second song is titled, No Such Thing is an upbeat pop rock genre. It is a tune about when you hold on and hold on and hold on to a relationship in the face of everything. Mainly because you had made so many rash and painful decisions in the past. You insist you will make this one work. One day you just wake up and realize it does not hurt anymore and you are not mad at yourself anymore. The sentence you gave your own self is up and you are set free. Then the anger you felt for the other is also diminished. Now you accept all and once again choose best! Yes?

  • The third song is a tune close to the genre of my heart. This is a traditional Blues song.
It refers to the human experience we all encounter from time to time called the blues or a sense of sadness. Sometimes we fall into this mood and all too often make an identity out of it. This transition into identifying with the experience of depression or sadness will lead to an unawarenes . An unawareness that there is a part of us that actually does not want to feel better. To feel better would jeopardize it's need for identity, which has now transformed into the victim identitiy. This song and dance is a plea to move past this condition and begin the business of living life through the simple things like music and movement. Always works for me.

So all three songs are related though they are of differnet genre, tempo, and mood.
