A SPARK OF DESIRE

RISEN TAKE FLIGHT

A COOL BREEZE IN SUMMER

THE SILENCE OF NIGHT

THE SOUND OF A WHISPER

FROM WINDS THROUGH A TREE

THE STARS SHINING BRIGHT

CLEAR AIR SURROUNDS ME

THE DARK TURNS TO LIGHT

MY EYES FILL WITH WATER

SOUL BLANKET OF HEART

CHILLS COVER MY BODY

IN ASTONISHMENT PONDER

AN END OR A START

MY MIND STARTS TO WONDER

 

WHERE DOES IT GO?

WHAT CAN IT BE?

WHY CAN’T I TOUCH IT

WHEN WILL I KNOW

WHO IS THIS ME?

ALL PART OF THE SHOW

WHY DOES IT HURT SO MUCH

WHEN I GROW?

 

PEACE OF THE KNOWING

CANNOT BE EXPRESSED

WHAT HAS BEEN TAKEN

APPEARS LESS AND LESS

WAIT IN THE HALLWAY

FOR A OPEN DOOR

WHAT I THOUGHT WAS GONE

IN THE END TURNED OUT WAS MUCH MORE

 

WHAT CAN IT BE?

WHY CAN’T I TOUCH IT?

WHEN WILL I KNOW

WHO IS THIS ME?

ALL PART OF GOD’S SHOW

WHY DOES IT HURT SO MUCH

WHEN I GROW?

 

LISTLESS AND RESTLESS

CAN ONLY BRING HASTE

HASTE CREATES TENSION

TENSION TO ASHES

TO WATER THEN LUST

ONLY THING NEEDED

IS 5 LETTERS TRUST.

Beginnings must end

Questions and answers

Merge into one

First everything

Last there’s none

Serious inquiries

Curious mind flurries

Next on the run no time for fun and

In the amount once filled with doubt

Stop asking questions far too soon

The stop from learning points to ruin

A life with no meaning

We’ll leave emptiness

Pain and disease

Guilt and stress

No help can we be

To the exact degree

We resist and disagree

There we plant

The future seed

No hand left a land

Back and forth

Receive and send

Give and take

Succeed mistakes

 

Truth of reality

Right or wrong

Happiness grief

Simple one

Better or leased

E go, pride, jealousy, lies

Collision

The minds prison

Facing all

Most likely fall

A personal call

Move forward or stall

Too short or long

Choose right or wrong

Who makes these rules?

We do.

The things held dear

To lose we fear

The grass is brown

Look around

Look well

The other side

Is really hell

No need to climb

Another hill

There’s nothing on the other side

It is all here yours and mine

It all begins

Remaining quiet and still.
